The program aimed to equip the participants with self-grooming skills. The resource person  spoke on the ways one can dress-up for occasions; indoor and outdoor. The women were taught several different ways to tie sari. Furthermore, the resource person also demonstrated techniques to apply facial make-up. The participants were given opportunity to practice the techniques among themselves with further guidance from the resource person.  Hence, learning these skills will enhance the capacity of women and helps to reduce expenditure during events such as wedding and birthday functions.

Mr Saravanan Sinapan, President of DHRRA Malaysia, spoke to those present on the opportunities available for women to uplift themselves and their family through small scale business. He also urged the participants to practice budgeting in managing the household income.  

The participants enjoyed the session and gained lots of input. They urged DHRRA Malaysia to conduct more of such programs in near future.
