DHRRA Malaysia is a voluntary non-profit and non-political organization registered in 2006 under the Societies Act of Malaysia 1966. It evolved from what was formerly known as MasDHRRA (1974-1998) and later, DHRRA Network Malaysia (1999 – 2005) that worked towards organizing a strong rural and self-reliant community through poverty alleviation and people’s empowerment initiatives.
This benefit comes in the form of a loan or scholarship given to dependant children of an insured employee who is in receipt of a monthly benefit, provided that the dependant children fulfill the eligibility conditions set by SOCSO.

A Seminar on Consumerism will be conducted in Dewan Orang Ramai, Taman Sri Aman Flats, Petaling Jaya. The program which will be held on 20th February 2010 is free. This seminar is a part of National Consumer Campaign. The seminar will conducted by Mr Saravanan Sinapan, President of DHRRA Malaysia.

A Seminar on Consumerism will be conducted in Restoran Mahkota, Sentul. The program which will be held on 26th February 2010 is free of charge. This seminar is a part of National Consumer Campaign - 3K. The seminar will conducted by Mr Saravanan Sinapan, President of DHRRA Malaysia.

Pusat Komuniti Menerima Kunjungan Timbalan Perdana Menteri Zimbabwe

Ibu Pejabat Projek Pusat Komuniti DHRRA-ERA, Petaling Jaya telah menerima penghormatan apabila dikunjungi oleh delegasi dari Zimbabwe, yang diketuai oleh Timbalan Perdana Menterinya, Thakozani Khupe pada 22 Februari 2010 yang lalu.
Delegasi tersebut turut disertai oleh beberapa tokoh, termasuk Pengarah Eksekutif Institut Demokratik Africa (ADI), Tashinga Mtindike dan pegawai-pegawai dari Kedutaan Zimbabwe.
A skill training session for women was conducted by ERA Community Centre in collaboration with Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development. The one day program was held at Kompleks Penyayang Masyarakat Hall , Penang. The program received an overwhelming response as participants travelled from all over Kedah, Penang and Perak to join the session.
Varun (not his real name) was very confused during his primary school days. Varun was frustrated for being told to take Islam subject when he practices Hinduism. It posed as challenge for him as he kept repeating profusely every year that he should be in the Moral class instead.
Nila is now 22 years old. Her aim in life is to be educated and to build a career for herself. She is highly motivated due to the life event which she experienced during her teenage years.
